Moon Phase Plant Trellis

Give a wandering vine something celestial to climb.

The Moon Phase Plant Trellis combines a practical climbing frame with a repeating pattern inspired by the changing phases of the moon. Two tall outer rails provide a straightforward path upward while the open circles and crescents create additional places for vines and stems to climb, weave, rest, or be loosely secured as they grow.

Its narrow rectangular shape makes Moon Phase especially useful when you want plenty of vertical support without taking over the pot. Guide a vine along the outer frame, weave flexible growth through the open lunar shapes, or use small plant clips or ties wherever a stem needs a little encouragement.

The geometric frame gives the trellis a little more visual structure than some of our more organic designs while remaining open enough for foliage to grow through and around it. Choose an earthy color and let the moon phases peek through the leaves, or pick a contrasting shade and make the trellis part of the display.

At approximately 3” wide and 9½” tall including the soil stakes, the Moon Phase Plant Trellis provides plenty of useful climbing height in a compact footprint. Two long soil stakes provide stable footing in the potting mix while the outer rails and interior shapes offer support from bottom to top.

Each Moon Phase Plant Trellis is made in small batches in our Kentucky studio and available in any of our curated eight-color Greenhouse Works Palette. Choose a quiet earthy shade that settles into the foliage, pick a contrasting color that becomes part of the pot, or leave the decision to us with Maker’s Choice.

Use & Care

Insert both stakes gently into the potting mix, positioning the trellis where it can best support the plant’s natural growth.

Allow flexible vines and stems to climb or weave naturally through the moon-phase openings and around the outer frame, or loosely secure stems to the trellis when needed. Avoid forcing thick or rigid stems into position.

Designed primarily for indoor use. Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth as needed.
