Bamboo Plant Support

Some plants want a whole trellis.

Others just need a little help finding their way up.

The Bamboo Plant Support gives climbing and trailing houseplants a sturdy vertical path without adding the width or visual weight of a traditional trellis.

Inspired by the shape of a leafy bamboo shoot, its slim 3-inch profile tucks easily into smaller pots and crowded plant shelves, while a substantial 7 mm center shoot provides added support for thicker stems and growing vines.

Let pothos and other climbers wind their way around the support naturally, guide stems through the leafy silhouette, or loosely attach your plant as needed. It’s a simple bit of plant hardware designed to help keep growth moving in the direction you want it to go.

At 9½ inches tall, the support is sized for everyday houseplants without taking over the pot. Up to 2 inches can be inserted into the soil, leaving plenty of support above the soil line while creating a secure footing below.

Each Bamboo Plant Support is made in small batches in our Kentucky studio and available in your choice from our curated eight-color Greenhouse Works Palette. Choose a quiet earthy shade that settles into the foliage, pick a contrasting color that becomes part of the pot, or leave the decision to us with Maker’s Choice.

Because sometimes a plant doesn’t need a bigger pot, a complicated training system, or an intervention.

It just needs something sturdy to climb.

Use & Care

Insert the lower portion of the support gently into the potting mix, up to approximately 2 inches deep. Position it where it can best support the plant’s natural growth.

Allow flexible vines to wrap or climb naturally, or loosely secure stems to the support when needed. Avoid forcing thick or rigid stems into position.

Designed primarily for indoor use. Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth as needed.
