Handmade Montana Blanket

A large handmade heirloom-style crochet blanket created slowly over dozens of hours in the XRCraft studio.

The Montana Blanket features deep charcoal, warm clay, muted rose, and soft wheat tones worked into a bold geometric design inspired by heritage textiles and well-lived homes. Draped across a sofa, reading chair, or bed, it brings warmth, texture, and a grounded sense of comfort to a space.

Sized generously at approximately 78” x 63” (6.5’ x 5’), this piece works beautifully as a couch throw, reading blanket, statement textile, or simply the blanket everyone reaches for first.

Each stitch was crocheted by hand by XRCraft’s own BigPlantPapa in Lexington, Kentucky for our Heirloom Workshop collection.

This is a finished one-of-a-kind handmade piece, not factory production. Small variations and subtle signs of handcraft are part of what make heirloom textiles feel alive.
